Managing Your Content:
Want your digital content to captivate and stay on point 24/7? It all starts with a smart, well-rounded strategy. Here’s how you can structure your schedule and split the content into three focus areas:
Business Hours (9AM to 5PM) on Weekdays: Keep it professional and dynamic.
After-hours (5PM to 9AM) on Weekdays: Shift to something more relaxed or attention-grabbing.
All-day on Weekends: Tailor it to your audience's weekend vibes.
Taking just a few steps to manage your content and letting Luna Screens do the rest:
Step 1: Go to the Luna Screens Media Library and upload all your media files.
In this example, the files were already organized in the computer's local folders and uploaded to the media library. We will be using a total of 18 files and organize them into two sets: Set A for 'Business Hours' playlist (9 files) and Set B for 'After-hours' (9 files).
Here's a quick look at the files that were uploaded into the media library and a brief description of what they represent as placeholder content:
Brand - anything that you can use to represent your products and services with your branding and logo.
Portfolio - your spaces, rooms, facilities, or any tangible offerings.
Feature videos - to visually showcase a more dynamic and appealing content.
Posters, programs, room rates, schedules - relevant business information that may change more often than other contents.
Special promos, testimonials, and virtual tours - these may be tailored for more engagement during after-hours.
Taglines and motivational quotes - miscellaneous content fillers that are optional.
There's plenty of room to store your content and Luna Screens supports a wide range of content file types to use, but we are using only a few images and videos as examples.
Step 2: Create two playlists, each with a different focus.
Each playlist should cycle each file every 10 seconds (e.g. Playlist 1: 9 files x 10 seconds = 90 seconds total runtime).
From the media library page, click 'Add new item'.
Go to the Add Content page and select the Playlist option to access the playlist selection page.
The Target screen size settings allow you to change the aspect ratio of the screens you're targeting (particularly useful if using the crop feature).
Click 'Add' to go to the Add Content page. From there, select a media file for your playlist by clicking the grey area to view the files in the Media Library.
Select your first media content by clicking its thumbnail, then check that it displays correctly in the preview box on the left.
Enter '10' in the 'This runs for __ seconds' field to set how long each piece of digital content is displayed before looping.
Name this playlist 'Business Hours' and repeat this process for the other eight files to complete your first playlist.
The 'Business Hours' playlist will resemble the screenshot shown below and you can drag the content boxes up and down to change their sequence.
After saving, the playlist thumbnail will appear in the Media Library.
Repeat the steps for the 'Business Hours' playlist and name it 'After-hours'. The resulting playlist will resemble the screenshots shown below.
Tip: You may also explore opportunities to add additional content for cross-promotion and if you are trying to build an ecosystem for more than one business. In this case, assuming you have other businesses like a bar or coffee shop located next to your coworking spaces, you can promote them in many ways using Luna Screens’ playlist and advanced scheduling features.
Step 3: Create a main playlist and include the 'Business Hours' and 'After-hours' playlists as nested content. This setup is ideal for advanced scheduling and dynamic screen configurations.
Repeat the steps for creating a new playlist and name the playlist 'Coworking Spaces.' Next, add the 'Business Hours' playlist, enable the 'I want to schedule this' toggle button, and verify the content in the preview box on the left.
Finally, configure advanced scheduling for continuous playback from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with the playlist looping perpetually.

Repeat the steps for adding the 'Business Hours' playlist. This time, add the 'After-hours' playlist twice: once to cover the 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule during weekdays, and once more to cover the entire day on weekends.

When should it start? – Select Saturday’s date after the current date if today’s date falls on a weekday and the start time (format is hh:mm:ss) at 00:00:00.

When should it end? – Select Monday’s date right after the weekend and the start time (format is hh:mm:ss) at 00:00:00.
Should this schedule repeat? – Yes.
How often? – 1 week

Once the three sets of nested playlists are configured, click 'Save' and check the settings to resemble the screenshot below.
The final playlist, 'Coworking Spaces,' will display a thumbnail in the media library similar to the screenshot below.
